The Application Process

Gather 2 letters of recommendation from someone who knows you well (e.g., school representative, employer, volunteer supervisor, case manager).​
2. Submit & Review

The Blue Lotus Center Selection Team will review your application and consider your strengths and needs.
3. Interview & Skills Assessment
The interview will be tailored to meet individual communication needs.

A support person is welcome to be a part of the interview.

The skills assessment is not a pass/fail test, but a way to gauge comfort and readiness. It is hands-on and could involve simple tasks like using tools, following safety instructions, or demonstrating basic physical abilities (e.g., lifting, walking trails).
4. Selection
The Blue Lotus Center Selection Team will consider the candidates. After review, applicants will be notified of their status.
