About the Event
Most people are caregivers. Whether it be to your family, friends, colleagues and community – you are always giving. How can you make sure you have the energy to take care of others? By taking care of yourself. Come to the Blue Lotus for an afternoon of health and self-healing techniques you can easily work into your everyday life.
Participants will learn:
· A daily energy routine to minimize stress, anxiety and depression and support an overall feeling of balance and wellness
· Simple movement exercises (modeled after tai-chi) that help release trauma from the body
· The joyful radiant circuit energy of the body and exercises
· Self-care exercises to calm the fight/flight response while strengthening your metabolism
This workshop is designed to teach you to naturally bring yourself to a more positive, stronger place to handle life’s challenges.
Susan Bliffert’s experience as an occupational therapist for more than 30 years has given her scientific knowledge in the physical and psychological aspects of the human being. At the same time, her personal journey of healing has led her to explore the impact of emotions, nutrition and exercise on the spirit.
Susan has additional training as an energy practitioner and minister of healing that allows her to integrate traditional and conventional therapies.
